Application process

Our application process

Our application process is broken down into four clear steps. The only way to apply is through our website, but if you have any questions about the status of your application – or if you have any special requirements – contact us at [email protected].

All applications are reviewed in the order they are received, and we may close roles earlier than advertised, so don’t delay in submitting yours.

  1. APPLY

Once you click ‘Apply’, you’ll be taken to our application site. Set up a candidate profile and you can apply for roles throughout Babcock. Make sure to save your application as you go along (you don’t want to lose anything if you get timed out or want to come back later).

When uploading your CV to our homepage, please keep it as simple as possible by avoiding fancy graphics or tables. Please submit your CV as a PDF or DOC file.

When you have created your account, you will receive an email with a link to your account where you can check on the progress of your application. If you have any queries, contact [email protected]

  2. ONLINE ASSESSMENTS

If you’re shortlisted, you’ll be asked to complete some online assessments. These help us select candidates to invite to interview or to one of our assessment centres. We want a diverse workforce, so if you require any help to complete the online tests, then please let us know by emailing [email protected]

  3. INTERVIEW/ASSESSMENT CENTRE

Depending on the role you’re applying to, you’ll be asked to attend an interview or assessment centre. Interviews and assessment centres typically run from October to March, around the UK and online. This is our chance to find out more about you and your chance to find out more about us – and to meet some of the people you might be working with. Once you’ve attended your interview or assessment centre you might also be asked to attend a final selection interview.

  4. OFFER

Soon after your final assessment, we’ll let you know if you’ve secured a place.
